Skelanimals are adorable little animals who have met an untimely end—mostly due to their own reckless and ill-advised behavior.  The 20 characters--ranging from a bat, to a monkey, to a bulldog--are brought to life through funny poems describing their demise, giving the brand its signature, light-hearted feel. The loveable Skelanimals and their clever personalities and hilarious back stories resonate with consumers of all stripes, from counterculture aficionados, to skate and surfer kids, fashion-savvy teens, toy collectors, and young people who just find the animals adorable. A key factor in Skelanimals’ success is that many people can embrace it regardless of individual personalities or cultural ties.
