This Dutch animation series evolves around Kika, Bob and Kika's cat Tiger. Tough nine year old girl Kika and the not so smart fireman Bob, are blown to the other side of the world by a storm, when they are trying to save Kika's cat Tiger from the church tower.
Kika & Bob travel around the world and try to get back home as soon as possible to save Tiger. Their journey takes them form the Amazon to Las Vegas and from Japan to Australia. In every place they meet new people with strange habits and customs. It is a challenge for them to overcome all the obstacles they find in their way. Kika and Bob's completely different characters don't make this any easier! They often find themselves in bizarre and hilarious situations. And the solutions they come up with aren't always the most logical ones.
Kika & Bob is a crossmedial series which asks viewers after every episode to go the website and take care of cat Tiger by playing games at the website www.kikaenbob.nl.
Vincent Bal, director of much awarded cinema hit MINOES and Colette Bothof ((ZWARTE ZWANEN) are responsible for the original script and the directing. Together with over twenty Dutch comic artists, ten Belgian storyboarders and three animation studios in China, the Filippines and Singapore they have worked on the 26 episodes.
Kika is voiced by actress Georgina Verbaan and actor Jack Wouterse voices fireman Bob. Joris Lutz does the voice of the all knowing narrator.
