The Engage Super League is the elite division for Rugby League in Europe. Fast, skilful and exciting Rugby League is one of the most physically demanding team sports on the planet. Fourteen teams compete over a summer season of 27 rounds of fixtures with the top eight teams making the play-off series, culminating in the Engage Super League Grand Final where the top two teams battle it out in front of 70k passionate fans at a packed Old Trafford.
Super League also includes the innovative Magic Weekend - seven games of Super League played at one location over the May Bank Holiday weekend. This year's event is taking place at the legendary Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
In 2010 the weekly Super League fixtures will take place in England, Wales, Scotland and France.
A record 1,731,466 spectators attended Engage Super League matches in 2009 and attendances have risen every year since 2001.
The 2009 Super League season was viewed by 10,255,600 on Sky Sports and the Grand Final was the most viewed Super League game ever.
